What Oceanside uses refrigerated trailers for

Beachfront and harbor-adjacent food service runs hard through summer, and a kitchen built for a normal week does not have the cold storage for a festival weekend or a full patio in August. - 12′ refrigerated trailer — about 7 ft × 12 ft, about 34°F to 40°F+ (cooler range), runs on a standard 120V outlet. Available with or without a generator.
- 16′ cooler/freezer trailer — about 7 ft × 16 ft, adjustable about −10°F to 40°F+ (freezer through cooler), power: standard 120V or 220V 30-amp, depending on the unit. Available with or without a generator.
Our trailers are about seven feet wide inside, which is wider than most of the refrigerated trailer rentals advertised around San Diego County, which are commonly six feet wide. The 12′ holds cooler-range (about 34°F to 40°F+). The 16′ is adjustable about −10°F to 40°F+ for freezer through cooler. They hold temperature; they are not blast freezers, so load product already cold.
If the Oceanside site has no receptacle you can count on, add the generator. It is the single most common thing people get wrong on a first rental.
