Refrigerated trailer rental Poway
Poway is a short run south from our Escondido shop at 1175 Industrial Ave, Suite J, and it sits inside our 20-mile free delivery radius. We are a refrigeration shop that owns its trailers — you are talking to the people who service the equipment.

What Poway uses refrigerated trailers for
Most Poway rentals come out of the business park. The industrial blocks along Kirkham Way, Danielson, and Scripps Poway Parkway hold food producers, distributors, and commissary kitchens, and those operations tend to need a trailer for the same reasons: a production spike, a delivery that outran the cold room, or a scheduled refurbishment of a walk-in that has to keep holding product until the day work starts.
Poway also generates a fair number of community and school event rentals — a tournament, a fair, a fundraiser on a field with no useful outlet. That is a generator job, on either trailer.
Because Poway is inside the free radius, there is no delivery charge to argue about. What we do need from you early is placement: several Poway commercial properties have grade changes and narrow drive aisles that are fine for a delivery van and awkward for a truck backing a 16-foot trailer about 7 feet wide. Tell us where you want it and we will say whether it can go there.
The two trailers we rent
We rent two units and only two units. There is no catalog behind this page.
- 12′ refrigerated trailer — about 7 ft × 12 ft, 0–35°F, runs on a standard 120V outlet. Available with or without a generator.
- 16′ cooler/freezer trailer — about 7 ft × 16 ft, 0–35°F, needs a 220V 30 amp plug. Available with or without a generator.
Both are about seven feet wide inside, which is wider than most of the refrigerated trailer rentals advertised around San Diego County, which are commonly six feet wide. Both hold anywhere in the 0–35°F band, so the same trailer works as a cooler or as a freezer depending on the setpoint — tell us which end you need when you book. They hold temperature; they are not blast freezers, so load product already cold.
If the Poway site has no receptacle you can count on, add the generator. It is the single most common thing people get wrong on a first rental.
Booking a trailer for Poway
Have four things ready: the delivery address in Poway, your start and end dates, whether you need cooler-range or freezer-range temperature, and a description of where the trailer will sit — gates, slope, overhead clearance, and who will be on site to meet the driver. A photo of the spot is worth more than a paragraph about it.
Then call 760-745-5252, request an estimate, or book online. We answer and schedule during shop hours, Monday–Friday 8AM–4PM PT. We do not run a 24-hour dispatch, and we would rather tell you that than promise a midnight drop we cannot make. If your dates fall outside those hours, ask — the answer depends on the schedule.
