For event work in Carlsbad, the generator option matters more than usual. A lot of the good staging spots — a lawn, a far corner of a lot, a closed-off street — have no shore power anywhere near them. Book the trailer with the generator rather than planning to run a long cord to a receptacle you have not tested.

- 12′ refrigerated trailer — about 7 ft × 12 ft, about 34°F to 40°F+ (cooler range), runs on a standard 120V outlet. Available with or without a generator.
- 16′ cooler/freezer trailer — about 7 ft × 16 ft, adjustable about −10°F to 40°F+ (freezer through cooler). Power depends on the unit: the 12′ and one of our 16′ trailers run on a standard 120V outlet; another 16′ needs a 220V 30-amp outlet (or add a generator). Available with or without a generator.
Our trailers are about seven feet wide inside, which is wider than most of the refrigerated trailer rentals advertised around San Diego County, which are commonly six feet wide. The 12′ holds cooler-range (about 34°F to 40°F+). The 16′ is adjustable about −10°F to 40°F+ for freezer through cooler. They hold temperature; they are not blast freezers, so load product already cold.
If the Carlsbad site has no receptacle you can count on, add the generator. It is the single most common thing people get wrong on a first rental.
